No wind to fly slope.

We went to the slope to fly with a hooking wind in town, 45km SW, only to find nothing at Maitlands. There was so much NOTHING, that we could not even fly Alulas. So Bakkie and I ducted a servo to the side of his Radian, pulled an elastic over the nose to hold a foamie, and gave gas!! It worked so well that we could piggy-back two planes at once! Well done Bakkie, your Radian is THE COOL!!

Jart with SMOKE!!

OK!, so we will go off the Migs just for a short post about smoke. We have been trying some methods of making our own, but have not got the formulae right yet. Bakkie imported some and we fixed it to a Jart. It looked AWESOME!!

Barry had a great fly on the slope with his electric Mig untill he lost orientation for a second. He went down and hit the only guy in the bush, who was busy recovering his own plane, Shaun. Well Shaun did'nt seem to have taken the hit to bad. However Barry's Mig snapped in half!

Lloyd came to the slope yesterday to demo the FPV system. WOW!!... It works, and works well!! He flew up and down the Maitland slope without looking at the plane.
