Spinner made from foam.




Hey Markus, your battery box looks great. Bruce asked about the mounting of the conopy and the spinner. I might have answered the canopy question but will post some pics about the spinner tommorrow. Above are pics of Ulrichs scale mig and my "Heavy Metal". Bruce's q was about making a spinner from foam, hence the pics. Ulrich made his from foam. Sean.

  2. Hi there Bruce. I dont think Ulrich has any pics of the foam spinner. My comment was of spinners that I have used, the glass ones. I think Ulrich did it as follows.. He placed a chunk of foam in a drill chuck and shaped it with a sanding block. He then cut a hole to place the lead to ballance the plane in. Then glue to the fw. I dont know if this helps, I will ask him to comment. Please confirm receight of this mail as we are still hooking up comments to mails. Did I answer your q about the canopy? Thanx. Sean
